Help me give my students a rug, a white board for small groups, and various classroom materials. I hope to create a comfortable environment where my students will academically and emotionally thrive. All donations are greatly appreciated!

My Project

The specific items I am requesting will make a difference in their learning by creating a comfortable environment. Creating a comfortable environment promotes understanding, fosters a community, and increases classroom engagement. The other supplies are various materials that would be used for student learning. The materials, such as markers, pencils, and the whiteboard, will enhance their knowledge by providing the students with resources to focus on their learning solely.

My goal for this project is to create a comfortable environment where my students are excited to learn.

I hope to have classroom materials and resources readily available, so my students do not have to worry about them. Often, I hear students tell me that they do not have a marker, but they cannot ask their parents because of various circumstances. With that, I want to have these materials available for them.

My students are unique because they trust me to teach and support them throughout their learning journey. They are learning from me, and I am also learning from them. I get to learn about each student and know their unique cultures, backgrounds, and interests. As a first-year teacher, my first cohort of students will be the most important to me because I will grow the most in that classroom.
