This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At my school, I have the privilege of working with a diverse and enthusiastic group of students who inspire me every day with their passion for learning. As their teacher, I'm dedicated to providing them with an optimal learning environment that nurtures their growth and sparks their curiosity. Your donations will help transform my library into a cozy and inviting space that encourages a love for reading and learning. I remember as a child how hard it was to sit in a hard desk all day long.
I love giving my students multiple opportunities to get out of their seats and work in other areas of the room.
A well-organized, inviting library encourages self-directed learning and supports early literacy. By providing a comfortable seating area, we make reading more appealing, fostering a love for books and storytelling.
Our goal is to create a nurturing environment that promotes independent reading and learning through play. The beanbag chairs will help establish a dedicated, comfortable reading corner where children can choose books and engage in quiet, reflective play. This setup supports their cognitive and emotional development by integrating choice and comfort into their learning experience.
The addition of these beanbag chairs will cater to their unique needs and preferences, making learning an exciting and cozy adventure.
