Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our student leaders are wanting to create a strong mentorship with new students. From partnering to guide and facilitate freshmen to meeting our newest enrollees to make them feel welcome, our student leaders want to do more! They hope to receive the books on social emotional connections. These kids are driven to learn and grow to make themselves stronger so that they can be a caring and positive mentor. Some of the ideas range from hosting game nights, which some of the items will be used to host fun games, to creating a peaceful space for students to design, draw, or craft. My student leaders have big dreams and want to see their campus transform into a safe, energetic, and caring place where students love to come and stay during their high school years!
