Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
These kids are special because they do not have a lot but they make the most of everything they have! I’m moving grade levels and would love to give the younger kids a warm and welcoming atmosphere next year especially after their first-grade year got cut short due to the current pandemic.
My Project
These supplies for the classroom will be used almost daily. They will need storage containers for their folder, supplies, and any materials they get in class. They will need pencils, dry erase markers, crayons/colored pencils for small group instructions, activities, and other lessons.
The carpet will be used for carpet time and morning meetings to get the students ready for the day with a fresh start.
Teacher-directed instruction will take place from the carpet too. The students will be able to use whiteboards while following along to show their progress with the content before moving on to independent work.
