Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My 4th grade students can be described by the 3c's, creative, curious, and courageous. They have faced and encountered many hardships and difficulties in their young lives, the most recent of which was Hurricane Harvey, and have still managed to keep a smile on their sweet faces.
They are full or life, hope and promise.
Promise, that one day, they will change and make their mark on the world around them. Their curiosity and hunger for knowledge inspires and motivate me to be the best teacher I can be!
My Project
Creating a comfortable and inviting reading environment is the goal of my project. I plan on using the book rack to help promote the various literature that my students will be exposed to through out the year.
My students love to sit in my reading library, but the it is not the most inviting or comfortable places to enjoy a book.
I want my students to dive into a good book, and let their imaginations take them on an adventure. The cushion seating is perfect for my students in the library center to get comfy and enjoy their reading books.
