My Project

In our Library, we aim to create a space where students feel at ease to read, study, collaborate, and recharge throughout the school day. We are hoping to add flexible seating options—such as cushioned chairs, bean bags, and soft seating areas—that accommodate a variety of learning styles and group sizes. We also plan to include area rugs, low tables, and cozy reading nooks to make the space feel more inviting and create more warmth.

By enhancing comfort and accessibility, the library will become a true “third space” on campus: not just a place for books, but a welcoming environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and connection.

Research shows that students are more likely to engage in reading and independent learning when they feel comfortable and relaxed in their surroundings. This project aims to foster that sense of belonging while promoting literacy and lifelong learning.
