My Project

I am requesting seats and cushions for flexible seating in my 4th grade classroom. I always tell my students that our classroom is their second home, so I want them to feel comfortable and at home when they are there. Throughout the years, certain seating options are always chosen as the “favorites”, therefore they are well loved and need to be replaced every few years. I am hoping to replace favorite seating options, and add new choices for the upcoming students.

I believe if a student feels at home and comfortable in their classroom, they are able to relax and focus on their learning.

Having a classroom filled with different flexible seating options is one way to create a classroom filled with comfort. When students walk by my classroom, I want them to be excited to become part of the 4th grade family.
