My Project

Our class is asking for chairs, bean bags, and a rug to create a functional and comfortable learning environment in our classroom. The chairs and bean bags would help update our classroom library to make it more cozy and enjoyable for reading. The rug would help with our instruction because during our lessons the students sit at a large rug by the smartboard and whiteboard. The rug is old and falling apart and we are in need of an update. The chairs, bean bags, and rug would all be a beneficial addition to our classroom environment.

I want to give my students a learning environment that will both aid in their learning and make them feel comfortable because school is like a second home for students.

Much of a child's day is spent at school which makes it important to have a space that feels comfortable for all. By donating to this project, you would be helping to create an environment for students that feels comfortable like a home.

3rd grade is a perfect time for students to develop a love of reading. Most students are able to read chapter books independently by 3rd grade and they are starting to learn which genres and series they enjoy. I want to aid in the development of reading for joy by creating a cozy environment in which to read. My classroom has an extensive classroom library, but it would benefit from some comfortable seating options. In addition, the rug would benefit student learning by giving students a new and improved space to learn. Please consider helping me create a comfortable learning environment.
