My Project

I am seeking flexible seating options for my special needs classroom to create an environment where each student can thrive. The specific items I am requesting—such as wobble stools, bean bags, and fidget-friendly seats—will allow my students to choose seating arrangements that best suit their sensory, physical, and cognitive needs. By providing a variety of seating options, I can help reduce distractions, increase engagement, and improve focus during lessons. Flexible seating will allow students to regulate their own learning environment, promoting comfort and encouraging them to stay engaged. When students are comfortable, they are more likely to participate actively and stay on task. Offering various seating choices also supports different learning styles, giving students the freedom to choose what works best for them. This flexibility fosters independence, encourages self-regulation, and creates a positive, inclusive classroom environment. My goal is to create a classroom where every student can succeed and feel comfortable. I want to provide a space where each child can focus, collaborate with peers, and express themselves freely. Flexible seating will promote active learning and self-discovery, helping my students build confidence and develop essential social and academic skills. My students are incredibly unique, each with their own strengths, challenges, and learning needs. They demonstrate resilience, creativity, and determination every day as they navigate their own learning journeys. By creating a more flexible and adaptable learning environment, I am empowering them to take ownership of their education and reach their fullest potential. With the right seating options, they will have the support they need to succeed academically and personally.
