Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach at a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Last year, my classroom was a combination of hybrid/virtual instruction.

This year, we have returned to all face-to-face instruction five days a week.

I am a firm believer that a prekindergarten classroom should be a welcoming place where students feel comfortable enough to focus on learning through fun and games.

My students wake up every day full of life and energy, ready to learn about exciting and new adventures that await them.

We learn through dancing and singing songs such as their ABCs and 123's. We want to showcase a great event for their parents to see how much they have learned throughout this school year.

I would like to give my students these books, certificates, medals, and fidget poppers to keep as souvenirs for their hard work in learning in preschool.
