This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an elementary school counselor, I have the privilege of working with students who are in the early stages of developing their social-emotional skills. Many of these young learners benefit from extra support in expressing their feelings, managing emotions, and building positive relationships. A dedicated, calming counseling space will provide them with the safety and comfort they need to grow and thrive.

To make this vision a reality, I’m requesting furniture that will help transform our counseling office into a warm and welcoming environment.

Soft seating and soothing decor can make a big difference in helping students feel at ease. A well-designed space not only supports emotional well-being but also contributes to our school’s academic goals by promoting focus, reducing stress, and encouraging healthy communication. Your support will directly impact the lives of our students and their ability to succeed both socially and academically.
