Creating a Calm Space for Every Classroom

Help me give my students visual timers and bins for calming spaces in the classrooms. We have 35 classrooms in my school and I would like to give every classroom a visual timer and box for fidgets.

My Project

The students at our school are creative, caring, and inspirational. We are a pre-kindergarten through sixth grade school, meaning that we have students who are 3 years old to 13 years old. Many of our students have Individual Education Plans or are multilingual learners.

My goal is to give every classroom in the building a timer and organizational box.

The donation of timers and organizational boxes will significantly enhance my students' learning experience by supporting essential skills that are critical to their academic success. The timers will help students develop a better understanding of time management, allowing them to stay focused and on task during independent work periods, or for when they need a break. The organizational boxes will provide a structured system for classrooms to store their calm down materials. By having these tools, students will be able to work more efficiently, develop greater self-reliance, and cultivate essential life skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom. As a result, these donations will directly contribute to creating a more productive, organized, and supportive learning environment that allows my students to thrive.
