Creating a Calm Classroom

Help me give my students a calm environment in our classroom. A calming classroom is a safe space for children.

My Project

Sensory items, like soft lighting, soothing music, and tactile objects, can foster a calm environment by providing students with comforting stimuli that promotes focus.

These times engage different senses, helping to reduce stress, anxiety, and sensory overload.

These items will help to support emotional regulation and enhance learning experiences for the students in my classroom. The fluorescent lights in the classroom are very bright and do not contribute to a calmer, more inviting, classroom. These tools will help to create a welcoming space for my students to learn and grow.
