Creating a Calm and Flexible Seating Area in My Classroom

Help me give my students flexible seating with the Nobildoma bean bag chairs and Lakeshore carpet. Some students find it hard to focus sitting at a desk all day.

My Project

The supplies I am requesting will help my students with disabilities. My students all have varying disabilities which require accommodations to be successful in the classroom. I want to create a calming seating area for students to take a break when overwhelmed and need flexible seating.

For students who have reading disabilities and dyslexia, the headphones will allow them to listen to the text being read to them and allow them to respond to questions and complete writing assignments using the speech-to-text.

Many students come to school with baggage, creating a space to help them feel safe, and deal with social and emotional issues is important to their learning in the classroom.
