My school does not have too many extracurricular activities and clubs for students that are based on their interests. Most after school events are sports related, and the musical, which are great, but some students do not fall into these categories.\r\n\r\nThe students are now able to enjoy themselves in an interactive, team building, competitive, and socializing gaming club. We have been able to host in house gaming tournaments with super smash bros and plan to begin our Mario kart tour ament after mid-winter recess. Many students have shared how much they enjoy using high-end equipment, which makes them feel like their talents are being taken seriously. The ability to play, practice, and compete on technology that matches industry standards has been a huge motivator.\r\n\r\nOne student in particular had struggled to find their place in traditional extracurricular activities, but through eSports, they have truly flourished.
