This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help give my students some 3D pens to create STEAM magic in our classroom. My students love hands-on activities. Our school got the opportunity to learn about 3D printing, and my students were selected to travel to a local university to learn how to use 3D printers, vinyl cutting machines, and incorporate them into real-world STEAM projects. I would love to bring some of this technology back to campus by getting some 3D printer pens that the kids can use to create future projects and artwork.

Imagine the excitement on a child's face when their ideas and sketches become a real artifact.

With 3D printing, students will learn skills that can be applied to future careers and hobbies. I can design STEAM projects that create artifacts the kids can create and take home to share with their families with pride. My units are are project-based, so these pens will literally add a new dimension to my students' learning.
