This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 23 curious and enteritic TK students. I teach at Title 1 school where English is their second language. Most of my students who enter my classroom have no school experience and their developmental levels are growing in a vast range.

With role play materials, I can create a safe learning environment and engage all learners.
My Project
In transitional kindergarten my students will be able to develop soical skills using pretend play. They will have a pretend kitchen and pretend toys to help them explore, be problem solvers, and role paly, develop language in the classroom. Young children learn best through play, where they can have a natural sense of wonder and love of learning.
The students in TK will be exposed and be able develop cognitive, emotional, and physical skills.
A classroom filled with hands-on, play-based learning in a caring social environment will help all students gain a strong foundation for becoming a life-long learner and long-term academic success.
