This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Most students at our school come from middle to lower income families without much extra income for extracurricular activities and supplies.

The high school has become the epicenter and supplier of all community activities and events.

As such, the students spend most of their time at the school participating in whatever programs can be supported with the small budget we do have.

We have a great group of students working and designing Aladdin, and the community is excited to be part of it! We are hoping to make it the best production yet!

My Project

This fog machine will help us bring magic to our production of Aladdin, and future productions, by being able to cover our stage in low lying fog! This is an idea the student designers came up with, and is something we haven't ever used before.

Having this fog machine will give my stage tech students the opportunity to learn how to use a new stage tech device, and can now be part of their design for other productions.

This will help offset the cost for everything else we need to get to put on this production of Aladdin! Thank you!
