Create a School Wellness Center to Reduce Stress & Anxiety
Help me give my students & staff a Wellness Center for yoga and mindfulness practices! We need yoga & meditation equipment like mats, bolsters, & blocks.
My school needs a Wellness Center! I am recently certified in yoga & social emotional learning through Breathe for Change & want to bring these strategies to my school. My project is to create a Wellness Center on campus to help support our students & teachers who have increased levels of anxiety & depression from the the fallout of distance learning.
I will establish a classroom that will soothe anxiety by providing a calming atmosphere for mindful movement, breathing techniques, and meditation.
We will have yoga mats, bolsters, yoga blocks, eye pillows, & soothing music to help our students relax & rejuvenate. I will also use the Wellness Center after school to provide free yoga classes to my school staff to help them rest & restore themselves. Thank you.
