Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Kiddos continue to struggle with their mental health since Covid. Mental health supports for children need to be a priority in our schools and communities.
It is our hope to address these needs by re-envisioning our school with a Counseling Center to create a warm, welcoming place where students, staff, and families can access supports.
Please help our efforts by donating to buy play therapy toys, alternative seating for one-one counseling sessions, rugs and pillows to define cozy spaces, and tubs to organize materials.
