My Students

My kindergarten students are a very fun group. I have a class of 25 students who are eager to learn and explore the world. They love playing and learning to read. They are very energetic and open to new learning ventures. My students are always given the opportunity to be in charge of their own learning. We are growing leaders. My students are from all different socioeconomic levels and backgrounds. They love coming to class to see what exciting things they will be learning.

My Project

The iPad that I am requesting for my students is needed to work toward an idividualized learning environment in our classroom.

I strive to meet each child where they are on thier educational journey and help them to rise to new heights.

They will use the iPad to improve reading, phonics, writing and math skills along with many other skills. I am working to provide a 1-1 technology environment in our classroom. The iPad will enhance learning opportunities throughout our curriculum. Students will be able to use the iPad to meet goals in our district mandatidate program, Lexia, which sets the time that students need to work in depending on thier indivudual knowledge levels. We only have 1 computer lab in our school and it's hard to get everything accomplished in the short amount of time we are alloted each week. This project will help my class be one step closer to our goal of indivudualized technology.
