My Project

We need art! My second graders love to draw, color, sketch, and paint BUT we don't have art in our curriculum. The art class was cut from our budget, so the students miss out on the opportunity to express their creativity. As the classroom teacher, I am trying to incorporate art into our literacy and math lessons. For example, in math, the students can draw arrays using dot art and in social studies/ELA, they can create autobiographical poems and draw self-portraits. We just need your help in purchasing the materials to make all of this possible.
