My students are absolutely incredible people. They are full of life and enthusiasm. When I teach them a new cooking technique I love seeing the "I got it" moment where it clicks and they understand what they just learned. They get so excited not only about food, but being able to be together and cooking.
I can see the camaraderie they have for each other in class and love seeing how food brings them closer.
Cooking is such an important skill, not only for a potential career but for everyday family life. Food is what brings everyone together no matter what walk of life they come from. They can bond and connect through food.
My Project
The students will be learning the basic of food production in a professional setting. They need the opportunity to work with professional equipment in professional events to become comfortable with the equipment before they go into the work force.
For the students it's imperative that they have a firm foundation to be successful in the workforce.
With your donations it gives the students the ability to build their skills and be a valuable asset to your favorite restaurants and resorts. For some students this is the only chance they have at any formal professional education for their desired career field.
