As a teacher that serves many schools from low-income/high poverty and middle-income to high-income many of my students are faced with challenges in and out of school. I am looking to keep things simple in Physical Education so my students will have a fun and rewarding time. I like to provide my students with creative and meaning activities in Physical Education.
My students like to move and love a lot of attention while participating in Physical Education.
From the moment they walk into the gym I want to show them that Physical Education can be fun and exciting. I focus on their growth during the six years I teach them. I cannot control their lives outside of school but I can certainly control their experiences during Physical Education by introducing them to many fun activities. I am hopeful I can inspire every student starting in kindergarten to live a healthy lifestyle and to be active.
My Project
The use of cones in PE is a daily activity in my lesson plans.
Using cones in PE is suitable for all sporting activities.
Cones are ideal for fast footwork and can be used to design challenging drills to improve footwork, change lateral direction, and all-around agility. Cones can also be used to create and mark boundaries for games. While using cones students are involved in aerobic activities that develop speed, quickness, leg strength, coordination, and fair play.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus while in PE, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement when they return to their classroom.
The products I have selected will help my students by giving them additional learning activities to make more effective learning choices. The cones will be extremely beneficial for all of my 2000 students from grades K-5
