Have you ever had a class that made an impact on your life? That is my class. Not only am I teaching students how to cook, but to communicate, work as a team, and use leadership.
I have had students tell me that the only reason they came to school that day was because they knew we were cooking and didn't want to miss the opportunity.
This is a pretty powerful statement to have to live up to as a teacher.
I think one reason students feel that way, is because I use hands on learning. With yours support, I will have the Crazy Chef's game for my culinary students to play. This will enable them to make a recipe out of random ingredients, like we see chefs do on the Master Chef Show.
