Bright and energetic, my students are young second graders that are ready to engage in a new and exciting learning experience. They make their way to school as best they can, only to be packed into a class of 30 students to one teacher. The goal is to give these persistent and diligent students the best educational experience available. My classes are a mixture of Gifted and Talented students, traditional students, and English Language Learners. We work hard, we learn hard, and we play hard!
My students are very inquisitive, and it is their innate need to read, learn, and discover that I wish to encourage with your donations!!
They love to explore, create, and develop their own conclusions about their environment. These students are a combination of visual, auditory and tactile learners, from low-income families here in West Houston, Texas! Many of my students are from families that are still trying to recover from Hurricane Harvey, which nearly destroyed our city just a year ago. So please know, that your donations will be put to excellent and effective use!
My students are very active Second Graders from Low Income Families. They will need all the assistance we can give to meet and exceed the Achievement Gap that haunts all socioeconomically disadvantaged children. That is why I am asking for you help to put Crayons in Their Hands!
Since Art and Science are important in education, my students need Crayola crayons and markers to enhance their learning!
Their ability color and design their work is essential to their education- The crayons for coloring and adding beauty to their labors, and the marker for outlining and highlighting important information. So please, help me provide the best educational experience for these challenged children.
