Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our school is Title I, which means the majority of our students in the school come from low-income families. The parents of our students have chosen our school over public schools for a better learning experience.

In order to allow our children to have a better quality education, we are seeking help with project supplies that are impactful for our students.

These donations will aid their real-world learning experience. Our school would greatly appreciate any and all donations given.

My Project

Due to Covid my scholars are not allowed to share materials. Each student has their individual basket that contains their daily materials. In August we started face-to-face learning. Each caterpillar bought one box of crayons and colored pencils need to say they are worn, broken, etc. I sent home a letter asking each scholar to restock on these items; unfortunately due to the economy changes that have taken place most parents were not able to supply crayons or colored pencils. This bulk would allow me to give each scholar a ziploc bag of crayons, and colored pencils for their personal use that would last the rest of the school year, and next year also. Any donation would be gladly appreciated.
