My Project

This is my 18th year teaching at a Title I school. I love my students and want to see them succeed in school and in life. This year I'm teaching a STEM exploratory class and I share the media center with our Media Coordinator.

It's a new year, and we need some new crayons because we teach all the students K-5.

Because we teach all of the students, our crayon supply has started to run low. Many of our crayons are broken or missing, and the students struggle to find the colors they need. The crayons are just randomly placed in containers that the students at each table have to share. We would love to be able to give each student a container with all 16 Crayola crayons in it when they come to the media center. The reason we need Crayola is because we need the crayons to work well and last, especially when we're working with over 200 hundred children. The containers can also fit a glue stick and a pair of scissors. This way, each student has everything they need when they are doing an activity with the Media Coordinator or me.

I also would love to get more tiny multicolor pens as rewards for a job well done. The students love them, and I ran out.
