My students need access to technology on a daily basis. These Chromebooks will allow students to learn and practice useful computer skills including typing and creating documents, presentations, and videos.
My students are active, cheerful, and excited to learn every day! They are encouraged to take charge of their education and support their peers through challenges and successes. We strive for a positive, close-knit classroom community.

You can't put your finger on it or even see it. It's a feeling you get when you look at a student and you can sense that they feel a closeness and comfort as if they are at home. To support the community feeling of our school, students learn at a young age the importance of environmental awareness and community service.
My Project
Our classroom is lacking technology. My students are technologically savvy in many ways but most of them lack the necessary skills to succeed as they enter middle school.
The addition of these Chromebook laptops will enable my students to begin daily practice creating Word documents, Powerpoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets as well as improving basic typing skills.
My students will use the internet for scientific research projects and particiapte in learning games to improve math skills.
