This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am requesting a pair of band cymbals to be used in our percussion ensemble. Imagine walking into my music room during percussion ensemble rehearsal and getting the feeling that something is missing. You hear cajons, congas, bongos, shakers and other instruments, and yet, there is still something missing…the roll or crash of cymbals.

Cymbals will give our percussion group that extra something to make our music become more alive to our audience.

My students love playing in our percussion ensemble and the time has come to fulfill the need to include cymbals in the group to, again, give that extra special something to our music.
