This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need so many supplies to help us take our designs from the draft board to a prototype. We mainly use upcycled materials to create our prototypes but we need glue, cutters, and tools to turn this trash into treasure. The wood dowels can help us add simple machines such as levers, inclined planes, wedges, and pulleys to our builds. To put the A in STEAM and add some artistic style to our prototypes, we’re asking for washi tape, felt, foam, and beads to help us decorate our designs.

Please help me provide the most engaging STEAM experience that I can for our underserved 7th and 8th graders!

I could definitely not give my students an enriching STEAM experience without the help you donors like you! Thank you!
