My Students

The students in my classroom are pretty awesome. They are fun to be around because they question everything. The questions are innocent and come from minds that are ready to learn. Many of my students also come from disadvantaged homes and neighborhoods where the poverty level is pretty high. They come to my online virtual classroom in need of love and support. Love in many forms. Love of learning, love for them, and learning to love. That is what makes working with them so rewarding.

My students login online into my classroom daily, curious and ready to learn.

They love numbers and exploring with tools in math. They love reading and writing. I want them to enjoy arts and crafts as well. For online kindergarten students they are very engaged in learning.

My Project

My school was created because of the Covid 19 pandemic. Because they learn from home, many of my students do not have access to art and craft supplies. In kindergarten, being able to craft and create allows my students to learn through a modality that is fun and rewarding for the student! When the creat art or craft projects, they see success in what they make. It is original and it is theirs. They can take a break from academics and create! I can also teach them through guided lessons that will open their eyes to a more magical learning experience!
