Crafty Kids

Help me give my students the ability to explore and express using various art supplies and tools! These materials will help them create, build their basic art and literacy skills, and refine fine motor skills!

My Students

The kindergarten students that I teach, love to explore and ask questions! They are very curious, kind and eager to learn. I encourage them everyday to try their best, ask questions and help others around them.

We use a growth mindset to help the children realize that it's okay to not know how to do something, and that if they keep trying, they will learn it.

Our classroom is a safe place for the students to grow and become stronger in every aspect of their learning. I provide and teach them how to communicate their thoughts and feelings, as well as how to listen to other people's. This gives us a respected and loving environment that makes our learning fun!

My Project

These materials are going to be used to help develop fine motor skills, as well as provide different creative mediums. They will use the paints and scissors during our weekly art projects. The students will use the remainder of the materials in between to build their art knowledge and fine motor skills. By competing to see who can tie the shoes the fastest, and who knows the most of the flash cards, they will be testing their knowledge as well as building strength in those little hands! When it comes time to create, they will be well prepared and ready to explore!
