My second grade students attend a public school in New Hampshire. They come to school each day ready for new challenges! These seven and eight year old students are excited about learning and eager to do their best! My class includes children of all abilities and backgrounds. Over the past few years, students and their families are coming from more and more countries including India, China, Russia, Pakistan and Bangladesh. My students are kind, caring, energetic and creative. My class enjoys learning in an active and hands-on way.
My Project
My students would love to have these materials to continue doing arts and crafts projects. Some of the supplies will enable them to continue using materials we received from earlier funded projects. For example, we still have lots of beads but no laces to string them on. Also we have small cardboard boxes that could be decorated with the collage flowers, tacky glue and mini stampers. My class would enjoy using the markers with the create your own mini books.
My second graders love to create crafts not only for themselves, but also to give away to other people.
