My Students

Do you know what it is like to try to teach a classroom full of eager, bright 1st grade students and not have basic supplies? We are in desperate need of art paper, pom poms, and other basic supplies. Our school does not have an art class, so the only art the students get is in the regular class.

My school has over 50% of the students are on free/reduced lunch and come from economical challenged homes.

Our district cannot afford many supplies. Since we do not have financial support from the community due to the economy, we are unable to buy many supplies. Our students will benefit from having construction paper and other art supplies, because they are talented and bright. They love art and enjoying having the chance to express themselves and be creative.

My Project

Supplying our class with pom poms, beads, googly eyes, glitter glue, construction paper, and fun notepads will be awesome! Finally, our students will be able to express themselves through their art. It will boost their self-esteem to see their work posted in the halls of our school. Helping our class with these basic supplies will be greatly appreciated by both the teacher and the students. The students will use these materials to make holiday crafts and exciting models of things they are learning. They will be able to use the fun note pads to write ideas and show appreciation to others for their work. We really need your help!

Art is so important to elementary students.

Just because they are poor, they should not be without a chance to express themselves and show off their artistic abilities. Your donation will appreciated by these very precious children.
