This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Cricut is another form of technology advancement. As students are creating projects and designing our space, we get constrained and limited based on the supplies we have. A Cricut provides options on how the students express themselves with projects and activities. Advancing creative thinking also encourages and improved logical thinking.

My goals of the project are to create personalized designs to make each student feel welcomed and seen.

Then, I plan to create lessons that students can engage in to advance their own projects.

This is really special because our students are really artistic. I find them constantly doodling to express their narrative stories and using drawing as a way to internalize material. If they have more resources they can expand their creativity, resulting in more learning.
