My Project

In an age where mental health conversations are essential, this project aims to help my fashion, Merchandising and retail students harness the creative power of adhesive and heat transfer vinyl to promote mental health awareness and self-expression.

Through hands-on crafting activities, students will create meaningful designs that inspire dialoitems (like t-shirts and bags) and home decor that carry positive mental health messages.

Students will utilize crafting and design to communicate mental health themes, encouraging dialogue and understanding in the school and community.

Students will be equipped students with practical skills in design, crafting, and entrepreneurship, fostering creativity and self-confidence.

Students will use the vinyl to create items that promote mental health resources and encourage open conversations about mental well-being.

Students will learn to use adhesive and heat transfer vinyl to create custom designs for wearable items (like t-shirts and bags) and home decor that carry positive mental health messages.

I will facilitate brainstorming sessions where students can create their own designs that reflect their thoughts and experiences related to mental health, emphasizing themes of hope, resilience, and support.
