My Project
This project, which aims to integrate mindfulness practices into the makerspace experience through jewelry making. Students will engage in a tactile and sensory-rich process that promotes focus, concentration, and relaxation. These materials are in high demand and will provide and a sense of grounding. Our goal is to provide students with not just technical skills in jewelry making but also tools for self-awareness and stress relief. What makes our students special is their diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives, all of which contribute to a rich learning environment. By catering to their individual needs and interests, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment, allowing each student to shine in their own way.
