Crafting New Skills in the Library

My Project

We are working hard to update our craft and art skills section of our library and these resources would support not only our collection development goal but also build up our Makerspace resources. The Makerspace is a place for students in all grades to congregate, communicate, and collaborate as they get creative. Our Makerspace provides an outlet for students who students who need a short break from classroom rigor, or need a space to just be creative and have fun.

In this world filled with technology and fast-paced life, our Makerspace provides an opportunity for our students to slow down and reflect.

Our students are creative and materials like these provide them with an opportunity to showcase that creativity.
