Crafting Dreams: Unleashing Imagination with Our New 3D Printer
Help me give my students the ability to unlock a world of possibilities by harnessing the power of 3D printing to bring our ideas to life and empower our artist community with the purchase of Flashforge 3D printer.
We would like to continue exploring 3D printing in our junior high school art curriculum as technology promises to revolutionize creative expression. By providing students with hands-on experience in digital design and fabrication, the printer opens doors to endless possibilities for innovation and artistic exploration. Through the process of conceptualizing, designing, and printing their creations, students not only develop technical skills but also cultivate problem-solving abilities and spatial awareness. Furthermore, the integration of 3D printing technology fosters interdisciplinary connections, bridging art with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Ultimately, this invaluable addition to the art room empowers students to bring their imaginative visions to life in tangible, three-dimensional forms, enriching their educational journey and nurturing a lifelong passion for creativity.
My art students are AMAZING and they are meeting the challenges of designing through Tinkered on our iPads.
We are learning through tutorials how to design just about anything, from keychains to dragon heads. My students are truly remarkable due to their boundless creativity and willingness to experiment fearlessly with various artistic mediums, including designing in 3D dimensions. Their enthusiasm for expressing themselves through art is infectious, inspiring both peers and teachers alike. Not only do they demonstrate exceptional talent, but they also exhibit resilience and determination in overcoming artistic challenges. Most importantly, their passion for art fosters a supportive and collaborative environment, where each student's unique perspective contributes to a vibrant and dynamic artistic community.
