This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, we believe in the power of creativity to foster self-expression, build confidence, and strengthen connections. Our students, who have special needs, are incredibly talented, and they are eager to share their skills with others. With the right materials, they can create beautiful, meaningful crafts that they can proudly sell to teachers and staff on our coffee cart.

We are seeking art supplies—bracelet-making kits, ornament supplies, beads, strings, and other craft materials—to help them make bracelets, ornaments, and other handmade treasures.

The students will use these materials to create items that they can sell, helping them develop valuable skills like teamwork, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.

The opportunity to create and sell their crafts will not only foster their creativity but also give them a sense of pride and accomplishment as they see their work valued by others. It’s an opportunity to develop real-world skills, build self-esteem, and connect with the school community in a meaningful way.

By supporting this project, you are helping our students create not only beautiful crafts but also lasting memories of their growth and success. Your donation will make a huge difference in their educational journey, giving them the tools they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
