I teach in a middle school CORE classroom for students with intellectual disabilities. Our school serves a majority low-income population, and many of my students lack the resources and experiences that their higher-income peers often take for granted. Despite facing these challenges, my students show up every day with enthusiasm and a desire to learn. They deserve the same opportunities to grow, explore, and succeed as all students.
