Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first-grade students are a creative, hardworking, and eager-to-learn group of young learners who thrive on hands-on activities. They love exploring their imaginations and expressing their ideas through art and crafts. However, many of them lack access to the tools needed to fully immerse themselves in these enriching experiences.

The materials in this project—markers, colored pencils, crayons, flashcards, laminating pouches, and a hot glue gun—will provide the essential supplies to create vibrant, engaging learning experiences.

With these tools, we can create visual aids, interactive flashcards, and unique craft projects that support academic lessons and foster fine motor skills, problem-solving, and teamwork. Laminating pouches will allow us to make reusable resources, while the hot glue gun will help us build three-dimensional projects that bring lessons to life.

My goal is to spark creativity and build confidence in my students while helping them develop critical skills. These resources will not only make learning fun but also ensure my students have access to a well-rounded education that values both academic achievement and creative expression. My students are special because they are incredibly enthusiastic and resilient, bringing their best selves to the classroom every day. This project will empower them to explore their potential and dream big!
