When Kindergarten students come to school for the first time, they have hearts filled with adventure and discovery. They often explore in the classroom and are willing to try new activities. Their minds are often driven by curiosity, interest, and inquiry.
My Project
My students need construction paper, glue, scissors, crayons, finger paints and a variety of craft supplies to complete art and math projects. Every piece of material can be used for all subject areas! These materials will be mainly used for art and math. During art, students are able to create masterpieces and be proud of them. Students will be engaged in learning through art activities. Students, especially kinesthetic learners, will enjoy these supplies to do math. For example, students can sort items, make patterns, or string beads on pipe cleaners to make numbers.
These donations will improve my classroom by allowing students to use their imaginations to build and create.
Students will use each material to learn necessary skills needed to be successful. Through art, students will be more engaged and interested in learning!
