Craft, Create and Customize for Math and Science Learning
Help me give my students special Cricut tools for crafting and creating unique customization for classroom learning and creativity through art projects.
Math and Science can be challenging subjects for some students, especially for English Language Learners who have not yet acquired the academic vocabulary necessary for successful learning.
Overall, our school involves the students in meaningful school experiences that promote the joy of learning while addressing students' individual needs.
Our school has a rich tradition of delivering a strong academic curriculum to a diverse student population, especially new immigrants from all over the world who are English Language Learners.
My Project
The Cricut maker is a unique tool that can enhance student projects in Math and Science by making instant, beautiful customization possible in the classroom! It is also an amazing tool for the teacher as well. I can use this machine to cut any variety of materials I have on hand, and design beautiful prints I can use as labels, banners, or hall passes.
For example, students can design their own charming Science Fair Experiment Trifold Poster Display with attractive letters for the title and art designs with the Cricut Maker.
This helps students who may struggle with their handwriting but have very interesting experiment ideas to enhance their poster for our Science Fair Gallery Walk each year.
When students can proudly display their ideas, they are more confident in themselves and their group-mates and will invest more into their own learning. When I have tool for making good-looking displays for student projects and classroom organization without spending too much time, I can focus my energy on planning more engaging and enriching lessons for my students!
