The world is going digital and so are my students. We currently have 33 Chromebooks in our classroom and I have 34 students. Adding one more Chromebook to my classroom will allow me to have 1:1 devices. I have found several resources, which can enhance the learning in the classroom by adding additional Chromebooks.
The donations made will help increase student engagement in the classroom by opening up access to a whole new digital world.
This would also allow me to assess student learning through such things as Google Forms and Classroom. I could do classroom presentations using Nearpod and RTI using Edpuzzle. They would have access to online programs such as Prodigy and Khan Academy for Mathematics and Lexia and Utah Compose for Language Arts. It also opens up possibilities for them to do projects on Adobe and Google Slides.
As I add more devices to the classroom, it continues to open up more possibilities for keeping students engaged and increasing their Depth of Knowledge levels.
