Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
California Assembly Bill AB319 was enacted in 2015, instructing school districts to provide CPR along with first aid training as part of the graduation requirements. As of this school year (2023-2024), my high school created a freshmen health class, which increased the number of students enrolled. Due to this, the health teachers are in need of 2 additional AED training defibrillators so that all freshmen have equal accessibility to the curriculum.
Each year our department budgets decreases, therefore we are seeking assistance in order to obtain 2 AED training defibrillators.
