This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have 120+ motivated students who need basic Moc Clinic supplies (file folders, coding stickers, labels, and medical weight scale) to continue learning patient care in their new medical clinic. Since we are back on campus learning is going back to normal which means supplies are in high demand. This coming school year we are finally given a space area to convert into a Moc Clinic where students will be helping their fellow schoolmates with minor cuts and aches; and where they will learn other valuable life-saving skills. As a learning facility, we need to teach our students all about treating a patient. Patient care is the key to learning in this new Moc Clinic!
We have the Moc clinic area but we need a CPR training kit to teach students valuable life saving CPR skills!
Please help me keep my students learning to their fullest by giving them everything they need to show off their learning to their fullest potential. Let us help my students learn CPR skills when an emergency happens and be able to save lifes. They have worked hard to obtain this area and this is not the time to limit their learning.
We are a Title I, Performance Improvement school with 100% participation in the free lunch program. Many parents work two jobs and are struggling to support the family. Though their environment may not be conducive to learning, my students have an insatiable love of learning! I know that if we provide them with the right support, resources, and opportunists, they will become successful.
