This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a teacher with students with disabilities, I have seen this group of students blossom into aspiring readers on top of being great mathematicians. I have seen my group of students grow and change over the years, and I want this project to foster their passion for reading. Each item on the list is essential in creating the perfect reading experience. To enhance their experience, I am requesting assistance with getting bean bag chairs for comfort, books they enjoy reading, and headphones for my students who prefer to listen to books.
I want to give my students a comfortable place to sit down and read all their favorite books.
Reading holds a special place in my students' hearts, and it's not just a hobby. It's a passion that allows them to let their imaginations run wild. As their love for reading grows, so will their knowledge of the world around them. There is a unique book for every student, and I want to allow my students to find the book that is right for them.
