My students come to the classroom with limited exposure to the world outside our community. They discover new concepts, learn through play and work as a team to solve problems. They come to the classroom with big ideas and are excited to explore and share their ideas with their peers.
My students learn through hands-on activities and are eager to explore the world around them.
Our school is a Title I school and we sometimes lack the materials and resources that can help expand student learning. Any help would be appreciated!
These bean bags will be used in the classroom library to give a comfortable option to read a book or listen to a story. My hope is that these bean bags will make the reading center more welcoming for my little readers. I try to decorate and create a classroom library that is attractive for my students but have never had a comfortable spot for them to sit. The past couple of years my reading center seating option has been wooden chairs that were provided for me from the district.
By donating to this project you will help create an inviting environment in my classroom library encouraging students to read together.
The more time my students spend in our library the more they will practice the literacy skills they are learning. I hope that this project will not only bring my students a welcoming reading spot but will also help encourage better readers.
